“In the living room, the sun seems to really pour in during the winter when the sun is low on the horizon. Even on a dreary Michigan day, the house seems light and open as Wright incorporated the light screens and illuminated skylights. In the summer, the broad eaves provide a nice respite from the heat. The color on the walls in the morning rooms really changes with the light coming in. It gives the wall an interesting texture on bright days.”
