Marged Kwapil“For some visitors, it’s a first-time experience in a Wright house. Others are real dyed-in-the-wool groupies. But it really doesn’t matter what their experience is. I always wait for that moment when people turn the corner in the entryway, take the two steps into the gallery and walk into all that lovely, golden open space. We call it the ‘Wow Factor,’ and it never fails to elicit soft comments or exclamations of admiration. And I notice that the initial reactions are always soft and subdued, never boisterous or loud. The space and the light just seem to provoke a sort of reverence for the rooms.”
